| Research Projects |
| 2004-2005 | CIS/2 IFC Harmonization | | The project is an industrial funded project to harmonize CIS/2 (LPM6) information with IFC 2x2 (ST4). The two scopes of this project include 1) define the exchangeable information set between IFC and CIS/2 based on Used Case scenario; 2) implement CIS2-to-IFC (and versa verse) translators. |
| 2000-2004 | AISC CIMSteel (CIS/2) Deployment | | The project has been funded by AISC and led by Prof. Eastman since 2000. CIS/2 was adopted by AISC as the standard data model for their new EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) effort. There are over 12 software vendors who support data exchange through CIS/2. |
| 2002-2004 | FabTrol CIS/2 Relational DB | | The project is funded by AISC, FabTrol Co. and led by Prof. Eastman. My contribution includes implementing the interface between FabTrol internal DB and the GT CIS/2 relational database. The CIS/2 database is to be commercial FabTrol Co. in future release. |
| 2002-2004 | Data Visualization and Query of Product Model Repository | | Development of a data viewer and graphic query interface for a generic product model repository |
| 2003-2004 | CATIA-to-CIS/2 Transaltor | | The first phase of the project is funded by AISC to develop a CIS/2 translator on the structural bench of CATIA Dassualt. The main task is to export design CIS/2 model from CATIA V5.R10 (and later). The second phase of the project will be directly supported by Ghery's Technology. The project is currently under a contractual peroid | |
